With more than 30 years in hospitality and private club management, Chris plays a lead role in business development and executive search and management consulting for the Firm.

Prior to joining Club Thinking Partners, Chris served 20 seasons as the General Manager of Bald Peak Colony Club, a seasonal private club on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in the lakes region of New Hampshire. Prior to that, he held senior management positions with St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, the largest yacht club in the world; Boodles of London, one of the oldest and most established city clubs; and the Harvard Club of Boston, a Platinum alumni club.

Chris earned his B.S. degree from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration. He earned his CCM designation in 1999. Chris is an active contributor and prominent leader in the industry having served on the CMAA New England Chapter Board and multiple CMAA National Committees. In 2001, he received the prestigious Excellence in Club Management® Award, an annual award recognizing the best club managers in the industry presented by The McMahon Group. Since 2008, he has been a perennial member of an elite group of private club managers selected to oversee staff training and hospitality operations at the Masters Golf Tournament held at Augusta National Golf Club.

In 2014, Chris was named the New England Club Managers Association Manager of the Year. This award recognizes a NECMA Member for demonstrating outstanding qualifications and endeavors as a club manager while managing and promoting leadership, professional development, community and charitable involvement and overall dedication to and excellence in the club management field.

Over the past twenty years, Chris has developed an extensive internship program that has yielded 13 senior leaders currently serving in the club industry. Chris is also active in the Cornell Hotel Society and Chairman of the Executive Board of the Melvin Village Community Church where he and his family reside in New Hampshire.
