Eric Slack, PGA – Business Development Consultant

Eric Slack brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in private clubs, golf operations, hospitality, and residential community management. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for creating exceptional member experiences, developing high-performing teams, strengthening organizational culture, and fostering meaningful relationships with members, boards, owners, and industry leaders.

At DENEHY Club Thinking Partners, Eric serves as a Business Development Consultant, partnering with club leaders, board members, owners, and hospitality executives to identify leadership, governance, and organizational opportunities where CTP’s executive search and consulting expertise can create meaningful impact. His work focuses on relationship development, strategic outreach, industry engagement, and connecting organizations with solutions that support long-term operational excellence, leadership continuity, and organizational success. He helps clients access CTP’s expertise in executive search, strategic planning, governance advisory, organizational assessments, surveys, focus groups, and other consulting services while serving as a trusted representative of the firm’s brand and values.

Prior to joining CTP, Eric served as General Manager of Blessings, a private, invitation-only club, and Community Manager for an exclusive gated residential community. In those roles, he provided operational leadership, supported community governance, and served as Tournament Director for the nationally televised Blessings Collegiate Invitational, collaborating with NBC/Golf Channel leadership, tournament committees, local organizations, and club staff.

Earlier, Eric spent eight years at Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club in Arizona, where he advanced from Head Golf Professional to General Manager/Chief Operating Officer. As GM/COO, he worked closely with club leadership and governance bodies on strategic planning, capital improvements, financial stewardship, membership experience, and long-term operational success.

His career also includes leadership positions with Forest Highlands Golf Club, Point O’ Woods Golf & Country Club, and TPC Scottsdale, providing him with broad experience across private clubs, destination golf, residential communities, and championship events.

Eric is a Class A Member of the PGA of America, a member of the Club Management Association of America, and is pursuing the Certified Club Manager designation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University and serves on the Penn State Alumni Association Board of Directors in Arizona. He remains actively involved in the industry through professional associations, mentorship, education, and volunteer leadership initiatives.

Eric and his wife, Mindy, enjoy spending time with their daughter, traveling, cooking, staying active, and creating memorable experiences with family and friends.
