Diamond Star Ranch | Eagle, Colorado
General Manager

About Diamond Star Ranch and the Community
Set on 10,500 acres of historic ranchlands in the Brush Creek Valley—just minutes from the Town of Eagle, Eagle County Airport, and 20 minutes from Vail—Diamond Star Ranch is one of Colorado’s most distinctive private ranch communities.

Founded in the 1890s as a working cattle and horse ranch, the property has carefully preserved its western roots while evolving into a modern residential community. Historic remnants—including an original homestead cabin, schoolhouse, and an old stagecoach route that once ran west from Denver—remain on the property alongside modern amenities, offering residents a truly unique lifestyle experience. More than 60 historic structures still stand as constant reminders of the ranch’s past.

To ensure Diamond Star’s western heritage is protected forever, ownership is committed to conservation. Phase one secured 1,400 acres, and today, the Eagle Valley Land Trust holds easements on two parcels totaling 1,630 acres. In 2023, an additional 180 acres of ranchlands were placed under conservation easement, adding to the 1,450 acres already protected.
