About the Club
Nestled amidst the majestic Ponderosa pines of Arizona’s high country, Pine Canyon isn’t just a destination—it’s a sanctuary where you can truly escape, disconnect, and find your place. Spanning over 600 acres, this exclusive private lifestyle community seamlessly blends the best of multiple worlds, offering an unparalleled retreat.

At the heart of Pine Canyon lies its centerpiece: a meticulously crafted 19-hole championship golf course designed by Jay Morrish. Within the gated Pine Canyon community, 550 homesites offer an exclusive retreat, while nearby Flagstaff adds to the allure with its vibrant community of nearly 75,000 residents. Known for its four-season climate and abundant outdoor activities, Flagstaff is a true haven for nature enthusiasts, featuring 24 parks and an extensive urban trail system.
Gross revenue is $9 million, and annual F&B revenue is $3 million. There are 550 homesites, 625 full memberships, and membership dues are $1675. The Club is open seven days a week.

About the Position
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Food and Beverage Director holds accountability for seamlessly managing all front-of-house food and beverage operations across Club outlets. This encompasses overseeing the execution of club events and private functions to ensure exceptional service delivery and consistency. The role involves close collaboration with the culinary department to uphold the highest standards of dining experiences. Furthermore, the Food and Beverage Director oversees budget planning, cost controls, and implementation, along with front-of-house staff recruitment, training, development, scheduling, and supervision. With a focus on essential functions and responsibilities, the Food and Beverage Director ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of all facets within their purview.

About the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, although equivalent experience will be considered. He/she should have significant experience managing food and beverage operations in private clubs or resorts, including serving as a Food and Beverage Director or in a similar leadership role. A successful track record in team recruitment, development, budget management, and introducing innovative dining programming is essential.

The next Director of Food & Beverage will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and implement strategies effectively. He/she should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be adept at stakeholder management, including engaging with members, guests, and staff.

The ideal candidate should have extensive food, wine, and spirits knowledge and demonstrate attention to detail in product presentation and service quality. They should exhibit professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative mindset, working effectively with other department heads. Proficiency in relevant software and physical capability to perform job duties safely and effectively are also necessary.
